How to Give More for Less

The Book of Acts 20:35 tells us that the "Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

Some of us are more blessed than others in certain areas. Nevertheless, We are all blessed so we should be a blessing to someone else. We must free our heart from anything that might hinder us from reaching out to others.

These are ways that we can effectively share our blessing with others.

Some of us have more time to spare than others. And indeed that is a blessing too. Use that time to be a volunteer in your communities. Be active in your church, nonprofit, charity, charitable, nursing and group home organizations. Try to be part of what you are.

Embrace someone and tell them that you love them. A touch and a hug can bring a smile to someone. The Gift of Love is the most valuable gift than anything we can give.

"The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself." --Oscar Wilde
Take a few minutes to listen to the person asking you for advice. Try to imagine yourself in the other person's shoes. And if you been in the same situation, What did you do? No two persons situation are the same but they are all about conflicting emotions and choice. Sometimes if you would only listen to what a person might be trying to say, it could to better than any piece of advice.

No matter how big or little a gift might be it is the thought that will count. Making a choice to donate to help others is a sign of hope. Rather you donate blood, money, clothing, food it is all in the same for a good cause. Be a blessing to the beggar on the street corner asking for spare change.

God is impressed by our giving ability, and even more impressed by who have small amounts but still are willing to give. The truly real giver is any person who doesn't have much but chooses to give regardless.

Hi May:)

Very valuable tips to become a better human being and find favor with God Almighty.

Sharing time, love, advice and resources are vital for our alround satisfaction and to get a sense of fulfillment in life. After all what is life to a hoarder whether money, time, advice or resources? People who share these things freely are the ones admired, respected and looked upto in the world. They are the lighthouses for struggling, suffering, miserable humanity.

Amazing and useful thoughts May:)

Very wonderful reminder. It's not how much we give but the heart that gives . God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others.

Hi May, Indeed to give is more than a blessing than to receive. It just shows how blessed a person is when he/she never wear out to give without waiting in return.
