Money Money Money

For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

ASK YOURSELF:

Isn't is a fact that a man's life is not based upon things he possesses?
What would you do if you believe someone to be hungry and/or homeless asked for monies?
Acts 20:35?

1Timothy 6:10,11
Matthew 6:33
1Timothy 6:17,18
Proverbs 11:28

I think our lives should be based on how much we love God and how much we love others. How much money and possessions we accumulated will mean nothing. Great questions!

I just wanted to stop by....have not been able to blog much or check on everyone's blogs, which I'm missing a lot. . . .but your comment about change, the fear of it...oh my...that really spoke to me! THANK YOU so much! In response to your question about money..OH my...this was a good thought-provoking thought too. You're right...the LOVE of money IS the root of all evil. What God gives us, He expects to flow through us to others, and in turn He refills us with more. Just give and it shall be given unto you...pressed down...full measure. We can never out-give God. If we give to the poor, we are really "lending to the Lord." :)

Yes, that is true. The love of money is the root of all evils. Didn't Judas betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver? Money in itself is not bad per se but the inordinate love of it is evil. We can use money to further the cause of God and help our less privileged brethren. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

For the love of money. Its what the world is craving after for.Money money money. My aunt even say, Money makes the world go round" which is true. But all these things are temporary, the real treasure is in heaven, and can only be achieve through Jesus Christ.
