Prayer

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks find; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.-Matthew 7:7-8

Have you prayed today???????

My dear sister-in-law always said. "Pray about it." As with prayer of a righteous man, so much can be availed. It's never no better time than the moment at hand to say a little prayer. God will heal and deliver us when we pray. If we pray and doubt, we will do without. For this very reason, at times we might say. I have prayed many times, yet my prayer are not answered. But if we pray and believe, we will receive. In this instance, no matter what we ask in our prayers God hears. He might not answer our prayer the moment we call out, that doesn't matter for he is still an on time God. Better yet he knows our needs before even ask.

Isaiah 65:24 says; Before they call I will answer, while they are still speaking I will hear.

When we pray, may we take this earnest request to God and leave it will him. Father, whatever your will be. Heavenly Father, we come unto you now, long before storm come, thank you for all that you have done and for what still to be done.

I'm so grateful that the huge, awesome, creator of the universe lets me talk with Him and cares about me - it's truly mind boggling

There are three answers by God to our prayers. They are yes, no and later. God knows what we need even before we ask Him and we must trust Him that He will always give us what we need (not necessarily what we want) in His own perfect time. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

God always listens to our prayers....and He can grants them according to His plan.
But so many of us, think God is like a genie and we should pray only when we have a need or when there is no one to turn to ---or He, as the last resort.
God should always be first in our lives----no matter what--should even be top priority than our own family. If we love him, we talk to Him everyday, all the time and not only like when we need Him or when we feel like it or make Him squeeze into our busy daily lives as if He is an "interruption." God should always be first.
And you're right, God answers prayers to those who seek Him, love Him and trust Him---and do His ways and follow Him.

It's good when we can pray, but the hard part sometimes is the waiting. But as you said, God is always an on time God. His answer will come in the best time and in the best way possible. We just need to keep on praying, trusting and believing. God bless you May.

Hi May,
Mark 11:24. "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

This has been my favorite verse. And you know May,I have used this verse lately to ask something to Him which is against His teachings. I am like reminding Him always "Lord you said ask and whatever it is it will be given to me. Do you think he will grant it to me?
Please give me some insight May. Thank you I would really appreciate it. God bless you more
